Smart contracts are a hot topic right now. Combined with IoT sensors, we can now automate business transactions in logistics. In this two-hour workshop, you will get your hands dirty and build your own location-based smart contract. Afterwards, we will kick off the weekend together with the Beacon residents and Get Connected attendees.
What are smart contracts?
A smart contract is a computer protocol intended to digitally facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract. Smart contracts allow the performance of credible transactions without third parties.
What is geofencing?
Geo-fencing (geofencing) is a feature in a software program that uses the global positioning system (GPS) or other positioning data to define geographical boundaries.
Is the workshop free?
Yes! However, a no-show fee of €50,00 (excl. VAT) will be charged since we only have very limited seats available.
Do I need programming experience?
No! We will walk you through the process of building your own application. We do recommend you are tech-savvy, though. You will receive more details on the necessary tools beforehand.
