Switch from CARGOES Flow to Dockflow

CARGOES Flow is shutting down. Move your container tracking to Dockflow. Customers can be live in under 24 hours, with guided training and implementation available.

What's happening

DP World is shutting down CARGOES Flow, its shipment-visibility platform, after discontinuing SeaRates in August 2026 (FreightWaves, 27 August 2026). Several CARGOES Flow customers have already moved to Dockflow since August.

Below: what to check before you move, and what Dockflow covers.

What you need to keep running

Whatever replaces CARGOES Flow needs to cover the same daily list:

  • Carrier milestones for every shipment in transit
  • Updated ETAs without checking each carrier website manually
  • B/L and booking level tracking, not just container numbers
  • Exception alerts when something changes
  • Dwell and free-time visibility before the invoice arrives
  • A branded portal your customers can check without calling you
  • A way to get your data into your TMS, ERP or reporting

For reefer shipments, include temperature and humidity monitoring in your requirements.

How Dockflow covers it

Dockflow, the world's first LogOps platform, covers each point in one place.

Container visibility

Container tracking connects to 120+ ocean carriers. Milestones and ETA changes arrive on their own, and Container visibility shows which shipments are drifting off track. Predictive visibility goes one step past tracking: Dockflow predicts when a container will arrive and berth.

Automation

Automation triggers on an ETA change or a customs hold, so nobody has to watch a screen. Dockflow also tracks at bill of lading and booking level, which keeps the migration light: you bring across what is open, not years of history.

Demurrage tracking

Demurrage tracking shows how much free time each container has left, before the invoice lands. It is a time view, dwell days from discharge to gate-out, never a cost figure.

Temperature & humidity tracking

For cold chain shipments, Temperature & humidity tracking adds temperature and humidity readings with carrier alerts on top of location and milestones.

Customer portal

The Customer portal shares branded visibility with your shippers in one click, instead of "where is my container" calls all day.

Data quality

Data quality reconciles carrier and terminal data with GraphTP when two sources disagree. Dockflow's API feeds shipment data into your TMS or FMS.

Migration in 3 steps

  1. Prepare a list of your active B/L and booking references from CARGOES Flow or your own records. In the demo, agree what Dockflow will import, what your team needs to configure and which historical records you need to keep separately.
  2. Dockflow loads them and connects the carriers behind every shipment on that list.
  3. Your team is live, watching the same shipments in the new view.

Customers can be live in under 24 hours, with guided training and implementation available. The migration starts from what is moving now, not a full historical import.

Proof

A large industrial shipper moved from CARGOES Flow to Dockflow in under two weeks.

Container monitoring at Intercont Freight Liners

“Before Dockflow, we needed 2 full-time employees to continuously monitor our shipments in transit.”

Gaurav Sethi, CEO, Intercont Freight Liners

Last year $21 billion worth of cargo moved through Dockflow, across the supply chains of more than 15,000 companies.

FAQ

What should I check before switching off CARGOES Flow?

Export your open B/Ls and bookings before your access ends. Confirm which carriers and terminals the new platform connects to directly. Check that your alert rules carry over, and that the portal links you shared with your customers work on day one.

Who handles the migration, and what does my team need to do?

Dockflow runs the import and setup, with guided training. Your team supplies the shipment references and reviews the result.

How should I plan the switch around my contract end date?

Plan the switch so Dockflow is live before your CARGOES Flow access ends. Customers can be live in under 24 hours.

How do I export my data out of CARGOES Flow?

Ask your DP World account team for an export of your open shipments, bookings and B/Ls before your access ends. Dockflow does not need a full historical export to get you live. A list of what is in transit now is enough to start.

Does anything replace DP World terminal data if I leave CARGOES Flow?

Dockflow connects to 120+ ocean carriers and 300+ integrations, which covers the milestone and status data most CARGOES Flow customers rely on. Terminal data comes separately. For import flows, Dockflow connects to the terminals in Antwerp and Rotterdam, including DP World Antwerp, so terminal statuses sit next to carrier milestones in one view. Rotterdam runs on your own Portbase and ECT subscriptions. Export tracking is the next step and is not yet in production.

Is CARGOES Flow shutting down?

Yes. DP World is shutting down CARGOES Flow, its shipment-visibility platform, after discontinuing SeaRates in August 2026. Start your switch now: the steps above show what to check and how fast you can move.

Where is my shipment data hosted?

Dockflow hosts customer shipment data in the EU, in line with GDPR and the EU AI Act.

CARGOES Flow vs Dockflow, what is the difference?

They are built for different jobs. CARGOES Flow is DP World's general visibility dashboard. Dockflow is a LogOps platform built for freight forwarders, with carrier milestones, demurrage tracking and a branded customer portal in one workflow, plus integrations with the TMS and ERP systems forwarders already run.
