About Bahri Shipping Line

Formerly known as the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia, Bahri was established by Royal Decree in 1978 and is headquartered in Riyadh. It operates as the national shipping carrier of Saudi Arabia and has grown over more than four decades into one of the world’s leading maritime logistics and transportation companies.

Bahri structures its operations across six business units: Oil, Chemicals, Logistics, Dry Bulk, Ship Management, and Data. Its current fleet stands at 97 vessels, comprising 50 Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), 31 chemical and product tankers, 7 multipurpose vessels, and 13 dry bulk carriers, with additional vessels on order. Bahri is one of the largest owners and operators of VLCCs in the world, and the largest owner of chemical tankers in the Middle East.

Bahri Logistics, the company’s general cargo and container division founded in 1979, operates multipurpose vessels on regular liner services connecting the Middle East to North Africa, North America, Europe, and South Asia. Key ports of call include Jeddah, Dammam, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Houston, Alexandria, and Genoa.

Beyond its core shipping operations, Bahri has invested in digital infrastructure and data capabilities, operating a dedicated Data business unit focused on innovation and technology across the maritime sector. Accurate Bahri line tracking is essential for maintaining visibility across its expanding network of global trade lanes.

FAQs

How do I track my Bahri container with Dockflow?

Dockflow connects your Bahri container number to a live tracking dashboard that pulls data from AIS vessel signals, terminal feeds, and carrier updates. Once your container is added to the platform, every milestone from departure to final delivery is captured, verified, and displayed in real time inside your Logistics Command Center.

Yes. Dockflow supports Bahri shipment tracking via bill of lading number, giving your team immediate access to container status updates, milestone history, and predictive ETAs, all without needing to contact the carrier directly.

Yes. Alongside container numbers and bill of lading tracking, Dockflow allows your team to track Bahri shipments using a booking reference. All three methods connect to the same real-time visibility dashboard, ensuring consistent and accurate data regardless of how a shipment is referenced.

Dockflow cross-verifies every Bahri container event across multiple independent sources, including AIS vessel data, port terminal feeds, and carrier systems. This multi-source validation approach eliminates data gaps and ensures that every container status update your team receives is reliable and actionable.

Bahri’s official portal shows basic container status updates for its own shipments. Dockflow goes further by combining Bahri line tracking with data from over 200 other carriers in one unified platform, adding predictive ETAs, demurrage alerts, temperature monitoring, document management, and a branded customer portal, all in a single Logistics Command Center.

Yes. Dockflow unifies container tracking across Bahri and 200+ other shipping lines into one platform. Whether your operation spans a single carrier or a diverse mix of global and regional lines, every shipment is tracked, verified, and accessible from the same dashboard.

Yes. Dockflow integrates AIS vessel tracking data to monitor Bahri ship movements in real time. Even when carrier systems experience delays, AIS signals ensure your team maintains continuous visibility over vessel positions and accurate ETA forecasts across every trade lane Bahri serves.

Dockflow’s AI engine combines live AIS vessel movements, historical transit performance, port congestion data, and real-time carrier updates to generate predictive ETAs for every Bahri shipment. The result is a dynamic, continuously updated forecast that gives your team the confidence to plan ahead rather than react to surprises.

Yes. Dockflow delivers automated alerts for every critical Bahri container event, arrivals, departures, delays, and demurrage thresholds. Alerts are fully customizable and can be delivered via email or WhatsApp, keeping your team informed the moment something changes across your container tracking operation.

Yes. Dockflow supports full reefer container tracking for Bahri shipments. Beyond standard milestone visibility, your team can monitor real-time temperature, humidity, and light conditions throughout the journey, with customizable alert thresholds that trigger instantly if conditions deviate from defined limits.

Yes. Every B/L, shipping document, and carrier update related to your Bahri shipments can be stored and accessed in one secure Logistics Command Center. This eliminates scattered email threads and disconnected files, keeping your entire team and external partners working from the same verified documentation.

Dockflow uses a layered validation framework that cross-references every data point across AIS signals, terminal feeds, and carrier updates simultaneously. Its proprietary AI models continuously audit incoming data streams to detect anomalies, suppress duplicate events, and flag out-of-sequence milestones, ensuring your team always operates on clean, conflict-free data.

Yes. Dockflow’s customer portal makes it straightforward to share real-time Bahri container tracking data with clients, consignees, and overseas agents. Access levels are fully configurable, so you control exactly what each stakeholder can see, reducing manual update requests and keeping everyone aligned without extra effort from your team.

Yes. Overseas agents can access live Bahri container status updates, milestone data, and shipping documents directly through Dockflow’s branded customer portal. This removes the need for back-and-forth emails and ensures that every party in your logistics chain is working from the same verified, real-time information.

Yes. Dockflow’s API supports full integration with existing TMS and ERP platforms, allowing your team to access verified Bahri container tracking data directly within your internal systems. This eliminates manual data re-entry, reduces the risk of errors, and keeps your logistics workflows connected and consistent.

When AIS signals are temporarily unavailable, such as in areas with limited coverage, Dockflow continues tracking by drawing on terminal data, carrier system updates, and historical transit patterns. Once connectivity is restored, any data captured during the gap is synchronized automatically, ensuring no milestone is missed.

Yes. Dockflow’s Command Center is built to scale, supporting the simultaneous tracking of any number of Bahri containers across multiple trade lanes. Filters, tags, and automated workflows keep large container portfolios organized and manageable, whether your team is handling dozens or thousands of active shipments.

Yes. Dockflow archives the complete tracking history for every Bahri shipment, including all milestones, timestamps, and triggered alerts. This data is available for performance reviews, audits, dispute resolution, and long-term planning — giving your operation a reliable record of every container journey.

Yes. Dockflow allows you to combine Bahri container tracking with real-time CO₂ emissions monitoring. Whether your team is working toward internal sustainability targets or meeting compliance requirements such as CSRD, Dockflow provides emissions data at the shipment and lane level, fully integrated alongside your container tracking operation.
